norskkurs

Spennende..!

Hilsen fra her,
xoxo

Fjord trip

this was two or so weeks ago.. before Søvassli..Vilma, Ruta, Philipp, Vilma’s friend (I always forget her name) and I drove to a place close to Orkanger, by the coast.

on our way there, it was raining

quiet after the storm

after two hours of driving, we got there. we threw ourselves outside of the car and I stood and smelled the sea breeze and ran through grass patches towards the shore, a small beach with flat, smooth, small rocks. The sun was so white and blinding, the light so strange and cold.

mail, 01

so I got back this morning from the crazy Elverum-Karlstad-Stockholm trip, and I feel like I have a lot a lot a lot to write, about how good the Pumpkins were and all, but first I am going to get some sleep and post a gorgeous picture of something I got in the mail today…

mixtape, pictures, dinosaurs, stars, hearts and broken records.. thank you [you know how lovely you are].. these kind of things make me really really really really really happy :)

stockholm and party

so I have bought my bus ticket to Elverum (for a change), heading down there tomorrow morning, with my big backpack and FOOD and a book <3 and then we will drive to Sweden. I can't wait, even though I'll have to study a lot of Norwegian (got the final exam next week, saturday) .. but on sunday we are seeing the Smashing Pumpkins. I'm excited! there's going to be a massive photoblog next week I think ;)

alarm clocks

okay so, why do I manage to have the weirdest sleep pattern here? Only managed to fall asleep at around 6am. obviously turned off my alarm clock (I must’ve done, even though I don’t remember doing it) and woke up at 9:15am, so I was late for class. SÃ¥ bra!

ugh.

converse are my favorite hiking shoes…

…for urban hiking, that is.
of course, when we were told we would be hiking this weekend, I didn’t take anyone too seriously. “walking in the mountains, huuuhuu, okay, sure”, were my last words before I got onto the bus on friday afternoon, happily throwing my backpack+sleeping bag in the luggage trunk.
We got stuck in a bit of a traffic jam (what the..? traffic in Norway? yes, it does exist, apparently) and arrived at the center/hostel around 5:30PM. we hung around, ran like maniacs to pick out rooms+roomates, played KUBB (if you haven’t played it, you haven’t experienced Norway to the fullest) and had dinner, after which we headed down to the beach (more like, the sandy shore of the lake… but yes, technically it’s a beach).
On our way there we saw a dead squirrel.
It was sad.

roadkill

writing in sand is my favorite hobby

we were lucky, because it was COLD (some people actually swam in the lake,… we just pulled up our pants and experience the ‘warm’ water only up to our knees) but the sky was almost clear.

believe it or not, it’s 9PM here

Søvassli sunset

we had a big pretty campfire to warm up our toes after playing KUBB again. Wolfgang taught us some drinking songs and we just sort of hung out before heading back up to the hostel.
