Neil Gaiman: American Gods

Two weeks ago I finally started to read the book that Wisdom lent me in autumn (American Gods); I wanted to finish it before leaving to Finse. I’m always a bit careful when it comes to sci-fi, because it’s a genre I never really considered much and never thought I would get into. I have to thank patrick for introducing me to it, by the way.
That novel was amazing. It keeps you interested and hanging until the last page (almost 600 pages in paperback), it’s easy to read but with a good style, even when the writer flips back and forth in the narration between the past and the present – he manages it quite well by presenting the History of the Gods in separate chapters with very obvious links to the main story we are following and to Shadow, the main character. I am now very eager to read some more of his books…
