It’s snow-time!

yes, even the good and loud and busy and constantly-on-the-run people go on holiday. I am off to a snowy place for ten days of good food, early nights, lots of skiing, and no internet. I felt like I needed to throw in a couple of updates before my trip (though I really should be packing, since I’m off in three hours). By:Larm (that’s my favorite festival in the world, pretty much) has kicked off wonderfully yesterday from what I’ve heard. It makes me a little sad! But, well, for anyone who’s too broke to afford a ticket, too little into the industry to get a press pass, or just geographically in the impossibility of attending, National Student are blogging live from there. How lovely, right? Here’s the blog. Also, if you just happen to be in Oslo at the moment and happen to be hanging out at a few shows, take a look at the Spoon Train schedule – they’ve got some pretty kickass bands lined up (Sjur Lyseid is playing NINE shows at the festival! wild!) and they also like ping pong which is always a good thing, right? Furthermore, they’ve just put out a sampler you can find at some venues or download here.

So there we go. I am now going to send off some important urgent emails and PACK. hello Trieste, hello Padola (tiny village in the middle of the mountains), goodbye Vienna! See you all in ten days!
